This recipy was taken from Nigella Lawson's How to be a Domestic Godess cook book. As my friend is so obsessed by carrot cake I felt I should try these. These have a few different ingredients, including orange and lemon zest and some lemon juice in the icing, in comparison to Humminbird recipy I followed in my previouse post to make a Carrot cake.

These turned out lovely, and my friend couldn't wait to taste them. One was taken straight of the baking tray.
We and my work colegues were all in agreement that these turned out better than the cake. Though I have bought a new cake tin to try out the carrot cake again with the correct proportions. The icing was defiantly yummy to, I'm not a huge fan of icing but the lemon juice added to this one made it good. .... bring on the came making.
