My friend at work brought me in a lovely homemade cheese and caramelised onion pie for my supper. It was not around for long and that wasn't because the ward was to manic and I didn't have time to chew!. So we discussed what I could cook for our next shift together, she picked white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies. She said that she had never been that good at making cookies! well I wouldn't worry to much the pie was fab. I know these aren't white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies. The truth is I couldn't find macadamia nuts, I even gave in a drove to Tesco, but no macadamia nuts. So instead I made these I have had a book mark on this page for a while now so it was nice to be able to finally try out the recipe. It is from my Cookies book and I have to say at work I introduced them as cake biscuits because I think that was a better description. They did not last long though!
