Introduction to Weaving

On Tuesday I started a four week course called Introduction to Weaving at The Learning Place. As you have probably seen I did a Textile Tasters course where I did a weave sample. Here I will be able to expand on what I learnt then, and as the course moves forward I shell be experimenting with different weaving techniques. I have to admit using a peg loom to weave is slightly addictive, once you have got a rhythm its like you can't stop. It's also really easy!

Here's a picture of of what I managed to do in the 3 hours we had. It is supposed to be a pot when it is finished!

Incidentally, this course and the textiles course is with the same tutor as the felting course, Sharon Kearley. I think I am going a bit textile mad at the minute!
